After a scorching 5 days' training, the teams were met by rain at Wimbledon! Delayed play and slippery conditions weren't enough to stop one of the most convincing victories across the service for many years.
The Ladies team continued in their normal form, dominating their opponents with quick, straight set wins. The Men’s team were under slightly more pressure, often taking the full three sets to seal victory. The end result was an incredible 24 from 24 matches won across the two teams: no mean feat given the talent across the RAF and Navy as always.
The Masters teams had their work cut out for them this year. Sadly, the Men were unable to clench victory, losing out during numerous championship Tie breaks. The Ladies, however, finished their day as the victors. An extremely rare 3 match tie across all three services meant that a set count was in order. One the ladies pipped, by just 1 set!
