The 2016 Inter-Services 'A' Tennis Champs was held both at the RAF Halton TC and Portsmouth TA where play was over Mon 01 & Tue 02 Aug 2016.

2016 Inter-Services 'A' Championships Report
The Army Men had a successful Championships claiming the title. Great tennis from all.
The Army Ladies were triumphant for the third year running. We welcomed our top new player Pte Chloe Pike.

RAF Halton Tennis Club and Portsmouth Tennis Academy for hosting us at such short notice.

Please also note the 'Masters' competition for this Event for both the Ladies and the Mens was rescheduled,
the Ladies 'Masters' took place on Thu 30 Oct 16 where the Mens 'Masters' took place on Sun 05 Mar 17.
Congratulations to our Ladies 'Masters' who were Runners Up this year.
Fantastic results where they came out as equal winners with the RAF, just missing
out on the top spot losing two of the three rubbers against the RAF 😀🎾

The Official Presentations were held at the annual Cocktail Party at The All England Club, Wimbledon on Thu 15 Sept 16,

All three Services enjoyed this privileged occasion where the Army took the headlines scooping a double victory 🏆🏆 The Ladies successfully retained their crown and the Men got the most wanted trophyback 😀👏 #TheDouble Many thanks to the All England Tennis Club, Wimbledon for hosting us that evening 😀🎾
